Barbed wire protects people from the evils of the world.  This is broken because these people live in such sinful places that they need protection.  Barbed wire can also keep people in and block their view of what really happens.  

This is a beautiful open free sky, beautifully God-designed trees that reach up for the open forever blue.  One can look up there and think to themselves, "God lives up there."  It's nice during hard times.

The pigeons represent the homeless people of the world that beg.  They are unwanted, but they are still there.  But God created them too and he loves them equally.
