This is my country, Sierra Leone.  I like the hills and the mountains.  The houses on the hills are nice.  I like them.  I like the beautiful trees.

This is inside my classroom.  These are my classmates.  When the teacher is not in class, the children can jump up and play different games.  Some students listen to music.  When the teacher comes back inside they will be very quiet.  They like to play ACCRA.  It is a jumping and clapping game.  The boys like to sing and rap.  Some of them call themselves “Chick the Boy” from the literature book Chick and the River.

People live in this place.  The little children play there.  They get sick from living there.  The children can eat the rotten food there because they are so hungry.  There are houses very near here.  People cook and eat and then get sick.  I feel so bad for them.
